Subsea services

Transmark Subsea AS is a Norwegian company located at the waterfront in the harbour of Bergen. We are owned by The Transmark Group. Our main activities are producing cable and connector systems for offshore subsea use. We design, produce and service all cable, umbilical or tether systems used in subsea equipment such as ROV/ROT's to cables used for power and control of "permanently" installed subsea components like wellheads, pumps, manifolds, transducer arrays etc.

We design using 3D engineering packages which are amongst the best there is, our engineers design and create solutions to problems that our customers may have.Transmark Subsea AS supplies products and individual solutions in the field of subsea distribution, seismic equipment and ROV/oceanology. Our staff have over 30 years experience in the field ensuring top notch service to our customers along with continuing growth and expertise.

Engineering and equipment

We design using 3D engineering packages. It might be a small adjustment that needs to be made or it could be a larger project that requires new solutions where we most clearly show our skills at solving problems by creating new solutions. We aim to solve our clients problems through competent design and expertise which is compatible with existing equipment and satisfy requirements of the underwater environment.

We try to keep our engineers involved with our clients from the startof a project to ensure maximum quality control. Transmark Subsea AS produce most metal parts locally and also use well known suppliers of cable, fiber and underwater connectors.

We have the most innovative and new technology at our disposal to create the best products toreach a high standard. At our workshop we have a pressure tank rated to 450 bars working pressure it is 800mm in diameter and 1900mm deep, the lid is of a quick release design with 6 penetrators. Other special equipment we have is; fiber splicing equipment, fiber and copper umbilical testers for shorts, Rubber and PUR molding facilities, cable handling gear as well as first rate test and service facilities.
